Legacy

    Ernest Hemingway left a everlasting legacy on the entire next generation of writers to write after him. His style of writing is used heavily today in the world of literature by a variety of different authors. In addition, there have been hundreds of different books and stories written based off of his life. Many refer to him as "the most influential writer of the 20th century" because his short, sweet, and too the point writing style has been adopted by thousands of writers today. With timeless classics like "The Old Man and the Sea" and "A Farewell to Arms" Hemingway is surely a celebrity writer to be remembered for generations to come. He also sparked many kids of today to have a passion for hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation including myself.

    One thing I found really cool was this gathering spot in the Starbucks coffee shop of Ketchum Idaho. This is a spot dedicated to Hemingway’s legacy in the community and a great way for him to be remembered by today's younger generation.
