Hunting
Hemingway lived his life as a huge advocate and supporter of hunting. Not only did he hunt for recreation, he also hunted to feed his family. He saw hunting as a way to build bonds with the people in his life and commonly called it "therapy" as a way to disconnect with the outside world and be alone with ones self in the woods. Hunting is a sport that requires common sense, courage, passion, and coordination all of which were traits that Ernest Hemingway possessed.
Fishing
Like hunting, fishing was another huge pass time for Ernest Hemingway throughout his life. It is a sport that requires some serious patients and practice which is what Hemingway loved about it. He owned several boats however his most known vessel was called "Pilar" and was a boat set up for Marlin fishing.
