About Me
My name is Paul Vachula, I am 18 years old and this is my second semester here at Farmingdale State College. I live with my Mom, Dad and sister in the town of Hauppauge where I have been living my whole life. I am currently majoring in Construction Management and have been working for my family's excavation business for several years. When it comes to school, my favorite subjects are English and Social Studies because of the freedom you are given when it comes to the work as opposed to Math and Science. I also have always had a passion for trucks and anything that runs on diesel fuel.
My Hobbies
My hobbies consist of everything from hockey to hunting to fishing and everything in between. Anything that has to do with being outdoors is my passion. I have been hunting and fishing for as long as I can remember. From a young age my dad taught me many life skills and exposed me to these types of recreational sports. As a hockey player, I won 4 county championships with my high school team and 1 state championship. I also became an Eagle Scout this past year. When I learned that Ernest Hemingway shared almost all the same hobbies with me, I knew I had to base my final blog project on him.
